There is a growing body of scholarly articles addressing the phenomenon of online dating. 11 of them target at the characteristics of online dating products, including their inspirations. Nearly all of them are cross-sectional, while only 1 was qualitative. These articles as well draw from the diverse experience of participants, with four concentrating on heterosexuals and two about male homosexuals. These distinctions allow researchers to determine what habits become more very likely to result in powerful dating.
